Hello all! Posting to say hi from NJ where we are spending the week with Ed's folks to help with some household projects. Ed, Cathy (Ed's sister), Fletcher, and I headed into NYC today. We took trains to the city, the subway to 5th Ave. and walked through Central Park where we visited the Zoo (saw sea lions, penguins, polar bear, and more), the Children's Zoo (goats, pigs, sheep, cow, turtles, rabbits, and more), had a impromptu picnic on the lawn (park vendor grub) while we listened to a jazz quartet, rode the carousel, fed pigeons, took lots of pictures (thanks to Danielle for the AWESOME camera), and did a lot of walking! Navigating the subway way a little bit stressful but we'll call that an adventure! Fletcher seemed to enjoy himself but the train was his favorite. We are going to try to put in another day of work here at the house tomorrow and then go to the Statue of Liberty on Saturday. We'll be heading home on Sunday. Best to you all! Love from NJ!
